This is very much a niche product- if you have to ask, don't buy it. Period, full stop. But if you're in that niche, this is the lowest it's been compared to a normal $300+ price tag.

Should work in 2018 Mac Mini, Asrock X299E-ITX motherboard, or Intel laptop or NUC 6th gen or higher as long as the slots are there.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

How did you figure that out???
Not overkill if u are doing vmware related stuff or making a ram drive Big Grin
But odds are that anyone doing either of those (especially VMware) wouldn't need to ask. Stick Out Tongue

But yes, it probably will. Crucial's lookup tool [crucial.com] says yours has the right slots (2x DDR4), and the processor is new enough to support 32GB DIMMs. But it'll be overkill.

I have an Area 51m on order.

I have 4x16GB Corsair Vengeance ready to install. This would be just a few bucks more to go with two sticks instead of four. Any advantage?

Great price. I am tempted to get one for a 2018 Mac Mini, which I don't even have yet! Anyone want to speculate if the price will drop further on this in the next couple months? This single module is about the same price of a dual 16GB kit.

No idea if the ram price will drop or not. Ram price now is the same as it before crazy, it has a higher probability to keep the same price in the future IMO.

This ram is much more expensive than a dual 16GB kit, but it's a single module 32GB and no alternatives so manufacture could sell it at a much higher price. $224 is still slick compared to the Apple price. 2*16GB 2666Mhz for $175, link below.

Leaves the door open to upgrade to 128GB later? Big Grin Besides that, probably not.
