No tax for me thru Newegg, vs nearly 11% thru Bestbuy makes a bit of difference.

Not bad, but for those looking to shuck, this does not contain a helium drive like those found in the Easystore drives.

Edit: Looks like it may contain a helium drive as confirmed below.

The 5 elements 8TB drives I bought from BHphoto last week were all helium drives with manufacture dates of either 12/05/18 or 12/13/18 as confirmed by their model number and by the covered pin hole on the drive.

Anyone have any idea how good or bad this would work on a PS4 or Xbox one?

Been on the hunt for one of these for a while at $125. This is the lowest price so far that I have seen but I am not in a hurry till summer so I will wait. But if you need one now, this is a good price.

The 3.5" ones were always shuckable. You may be thinking about the 2.5" ones with the soldered on USB header.
