That's not necessarily true. Right now, yea, only a few games use it, but there is no evidence to say it won't be implemented into games until a few years from now

What he's saying is it won't be widespread for some time. GPU requirements will continue to increase so will the RTX cards of this generation be completely viable when Ray tracing becomes more mainstream. That's the real question here.

This is a great deal for the whole package. Just put together something similar for closer to $2k, wish I had waited.

this is kinda of like the 4k TV hype 4/5 years ago. you were paying premium for 4k without much content. only recent has 4k been more available, but at the same time 4k TV prices has dropped significantly.

I looked at this more as a deal on the entire package, which will crush pretty much any game you play today, with the added benefit of not having to upgrade the graphics card for 2 to 3 years

You are looking at 700-750 for the other items included. Granted, not everyone will want those but if you did, you are getting the GPU for around 800. Tax does put a damper on it as does the end of life z370 chipset.

Am I missing something here? Basically you're paying for the 2080 ti which retails at $1249, then for an additional $250 you get that PSU, motherboard, cooler, and case which all retail combined for way above that.

Also the PSU image shows a 1000W PSU, not 1600W as listed. Not sure which is the error.

That GPU goes for around $1070 on newegg.

So about 430 for the case, ps, cooler and z370 mb that has some pretty bad reviews.

The one that is listed on the B&H listing is the XC Ultra Gaming, which retails at $1249 at newegg. The one you linked is the black edition.

So what? Its still a damn fast card.

Since when did every game have to support every feature on a card?
