Target currently has a promotion where they give you a $30 Gift Card if you activate a prepaid Tracfone service with them.
The cheapest option is the $1 Tracfone simcard with the $15 smartphone plan w/ 200m for 30 days.
Total comes out to $16+tax. And you receive a $30 Target Giftcard (free $12~)
-Target tech has to do the activation on their laptops.
-They will need an imei for the phone you're going to use. (They don't check that. They just have to put that to pass the activation screen.
-they may ask for address. Tell them to use store address and Will ask for name on the account. (Not I forced either since it's only prepaid service)
-at no point will you be asked for a credit card.
-there's no limit on purchase. As long as you're paying for the $15 plan each time, and you're activating the service you will get the $30 GC each time.
-each $1 sim kit comes with 3 Tracfone sims (att, verizon and tmobile). You can activate each sim individually on the $15 plan and you'll receive the $30 GC each time.
-Promotion "ends" on Saturday March 16. But will probably continue onto next week.
-you can use the same imei on each one of the 3 Sims in the kit (since they are different carriers under working with Tracfone). But cannot use the same imei for more than that.
