as long as you don't lose the screen lottery, it's a great va panel tv.

other than the usual gray pinched corners, my screen looks flawless.
i've tested the heck out of mine before hanging it flat over a wire chute;

you haven't really seen Pacific Rim Uprising till you see it in 4K HDR.
my grief thus far is the usb2 port is lower powered than i'd like, and
i have to reseat the batteries and resync this stupid remote weekly.
i was also surprised such a new tv is not ac wifi, but it still does both
2.4 and 5.0 up to around 170Mbps, more than enough for 4K HDR.
btw if you have ad blocking on your router, it kills all the roku ads
i do hope roku keeps improving their software, as it could still use a
lot of minor tweaks to make it more practical. it tends to detect many
devices, options and channels you won't use, and you can't hide them,
so making your tv more idiot proof for other family members is a hassle,
but i don't hold this against tcl roku since other tv gui's are a lot worse
i wish tv makers would just focus on better i/o for their panels
and leave the streaming box smart stuff for others to plug in.

Want a 65" for upstairs. I don't want to shell out over 1500 currently and its traffic area with the kids too.

It does have ac wifi but there's something wrong with it, it's low rate even when next to the router. 173mbps here too but it is ac.
remote works fine, it's infrared. do you have a voice remote or something?
