Idk. I asked if it would be extended. She didn't know but that tomorrow would possibly be a new promotion.
I asked if I could return phone, cancel and take advantage of new offer if better. She said I could but that sometimes the hassle isn't worth it.
Couple more things I noticed:
Costco allows 90 day return on phone.
Check your plan benefits. Mine has Netflix for free or premium plan for $3.

Costco accept 90 day return but T-mobile does not. It is only 14 days to return.
It happened to me last time. I returned the phone after 15 days and they denied it.

Anyway short version of events - Costco Rep and I called T-Mobile rep who told him to sell me the phone and then she added the new line with the new IMEI and Sim #. But then because I was doing a trade-in T-Mobile rep said we had to return the phone then re-buy it as an upgrade/trade in. The two of them argued about that for about 10 minutes, but then the Costco rep agreed and everything got processed. I do have the RMA worth $27 from Assurant and the Costco promo paperwork. I was lucky that I only worked a half day today so the store wasn't busy and T-Mobile wasn't busy at 2pm. The T-Mobile rep stayed om the phone with the Costco rep and me for about 55 minutes and waited to make sure I had all the right paperwork. The Costco rep was equally accommodating. No real complaints other than the time it took because of a discount on my account through work. It's not a corporate owned account, it's an employee negotiated discount, and the hassle that T-Mobile put on it is nuts.
workaround is have the Costco rep call the Costco wireless support and they will add a new line using Costco rep code and then the Costco rep can order phone for you. it worked for me and also go rebate for the similar promo last time. calling t-mobile support will not work.
I would be a new customer to T Mobile and here is my situation:
I have 2 phones to trade in (IPhone 6 plus and IPhone 7 plus) and my question is -- If i add 2 lines of service and with that can i get 2 new iphone XR's and submit 2 rebates for $750 each.

The rep at previous costco- Christiana could not add a line to my account. I suggested him to call Tmobile customer service but he denied. Then I called Tmobile customer service to talk with that guy he denied again. Then the manager appeared and I let the manager talked to Tmobile cs. I heard he said to Tmobile rep that I took advantage of this deal then cancel after i get the rebate card. After all, tmobile rep told me tried another costco or went to Tmobile store to do this deal.
My account is Tmobile One no credit check, 8 lines. My family member did this deal on January 2019, we haven't cancelled the added line yet.
