Picked up two at $13 each for a retropie build (not going to go crazy waiting just to save a few bucks) Never tried this particular gamepad but have tons of Logitech accessories mouse/keyboards/ gamepads/webcam dating back to the late 1990s
Logitech make good quality stuff and their warranty/support/customer service is exceptional thats why they are excursively my choice for accessory for past 15 years.
If you see the F710 (the wireless version of this with rumble support) on sale for $29.99, I recommend getting it.
For wireless I would recommend the older version (Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2). As I got two of those and two of the newer F710.
The older CRP2 (Cordless Rumblepad 2) have better wireless reception. I notice I get better range with it and holds a consistent connection better. Not to say that the F710 is bad but sometimes it seems to either lose connection or go to sleep early when I put it down for a little bit (though in normal gameplay both F710 and the CRP2 never have any issue). The CRP2 do have a Fig Newton size receiver with a corded usb cable where the F710 have a small mini dongle.
Also the CRP2 have better/stiffer feeling analog sticks and the DPad just feels better. Overall the CRP2 just fell better in the hand interms of comfort
So what is better on the F710 than the CRP2?
1- it have support for both Direct input and XBox360 built in via toggle switch on the bottom.
Wheres the CRP2 only support Direct input. (though I've read somewhere there are software that can take a standard direct input gamepad and emulate a xbox360 controller with it but I don't know how well they work). Alot of newer PC games unfortunately only support XBOX360 controllers so having that compatibility built in is good.
2- the L2 and R2 buttons are analog wheres it is just digital on the CRP2
3- Short little receiver dongle so you can have it connected to say your laptop and it won't stick out.
4- it have one extra buttom (the middle "home" type button). though I never came across any incident on the older CRP2 where I go "if only this thing have one additional button"
What I like about both the F710 and CRP2 is both takes two AA batteries and it seems to last forever.

1) The D pad sucks for fighting games. I'm talking about needing to pull off your half circle commands, it's going to frustrate you and give you a sore thumb.
2) Games will recognize this as an Xbox controller, and will usually default to have the vibration turned ON. However, this crashes some games, so ALWAYS TURN IT OFF.

It isn't comfortable and the buttons feel squishy compared to my wired 360 controller. I paid about the same for both, but gave away the logitech controller. I am a huge logitech fan (mice, keyboard, speakers, headphones, webcam, harmony remote etc) but this is really a poor quality product. The Xbox 1 controller was just $38 and it blows this controller out of the water. The steam controller is sometimes on sale quite cheap, and that is by far a better controller.
If you are on a budget, i would recommend the wired 360 controller. For some reason it is currently selling for $99 on amazon, but I purchased mine for ~$15. Haptic feedback on modern games is actually quite important, and often makes the game easier with that physical feedback.
This would be a good controller for an occasional game or two or using a retro console. Don't expect to play Rocket League with it.

It won't better than the 360. I like Logitech for their keyboards, mice, and headsets, but have never met a game controller of theirs I didn't regret buying. Never looked back after the 360.
Might be an alright spare for a second player if it's only an occasional need.
Good deal otherwise.
