    As far as facts ... 1080p at 27" you are losing out compared to a smaller size. However that doesn't mean it won't work for you. I know people who rock this size with no problem. It comes down to your preference of what you expect when you look at a monitor. I believe what dictates people decisions in a monitor is their budget. Not everyone can afford going multi 1440p monitors (I mean it exceeds their budget).

    Now I do want to point out. For this particular monitor (IMO), you are paying for the curve feature over everything else. There have been other monitors focused more towards gaming with 144hz, lower ms, etc for about this price. Usually they are not curved. So I just wanted to point that out. The non curved monitors at 27" and 1080p are a little lower in price(non gaming). The steep price with this monitor seems to be for the curved screen. I believe 1440p at this size and curved go for about $260-$300 on slick deals. Hope that helps!
