Does BRICKSEEK work for ANYONE?!? I've never had store prices match what Brickseek says the price will be. I get that their service says it won't always be in sync with what a store carries QTY-wise, and that prices can vary, but i've NEVER had success with Brickseek. I've tried Walmart, BestBuy, Lowes... no luck anywhere. Am I jinxed or is this common? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I'm with OP. Four trips over the past few years, no luck. Target and WM. I don't use Brickseek, it's a huge time (and therefore money) suck.

brickseek pulls walmart/targets/lowes/etc inventory from their system. If it not working for you, its because the retailers system information is incorrect, not brickseek. Not sure why people have such a hard time grasping this concept.

It's not "hard to grasp". I understand it might be wrong, but it's ALWAYS been wrong over many uses of the service. I more easily understand the QTY available being incorrect than I understand the pricing being incorrect. If how does Brickseek get their pricing? When I asked at Walmart once, the lady looked up the item and, per their system, it had never been the price Brickseek was showing for the item.

Maybe it's a better service in areas of the country, and I'm not in any of those areas. :-(

Counts are usually off if it's a high theft item. Cellular accessories, etc.
In the case of coolers or other large items, I have found BS to be pretty accurate.

It probably depends on your area. In the metropolitan area I live in I've had little luck with most deals. Most stores don't even bother to put these items on clearance, and the few times they do they're either almost out of stock already or it won't take more than a few minutes until they are. Over the past several years, the only times I have had success is for items I could order to be delivered.
