I've bought this one last winter and absolutely hate it. It does not get hotter than 450 and even that takes forever. YMMV as my previous charbroil performed great and lasted 4 years, same price range.

Mine has the same problem - it's a design flaw in the lid. There's a two inch gap in the back when the lid is closed. I followed another recommendation to use binder clips and aluminum foil to close it up and it made a pretty big difference. But this shouldn't be an issue with a brand new grill.

I got one last year nd its a good grill for the money-my only complaint is I get rain water in the grease cup.

was going to get one tonight to replace by 2 burner CB infrared grill (3 yrs old). that one review about the big gap in the back, and some 1 and 2 star reviews about low flame, not enough temp are concerning

I'm still of an opinion of owning a lightly used Weber over buying anything else brand new. I have a portable Q and Genesis II grill and absolutely love both.

I bought one and the 20 off 100 on eBay. For 137 I plan on using it for a year or two and possibly selling for 50 bucks after. Hopefully it's worth it! Mixed reviews but I figured it couldn't hurt. Thank you!
