Costco Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 6 quart packs $16.69 After Rebate

Costco currently has the 6 quart packs of Mobil 1 marked down $10, this can be combined with the current Mobil 1 rebate of $12 and get you 6 quarts at $2.78/quart. While this is a bit more per quart than buying jugs its still a great deal for people who prefer individual quarts over jugs.
Costco discount valid 4/15-4/28.

$38.69 per 6qt pack
-$10 Costco discount
-$12 Mobil 1 rebate
= $16.69 or $2.78 per quart

Limit of 5 per household

Available oils:
Full Synthetic 5W-30
Full Synthetic 5W-20
Full Synthetic 10W-30
Full Synthetic 0W-40
Advanced Fuel Economy Full Synthetic 0W-20
High Mileage Full Synthetic 5W-30
High Mileage Full Synthetic 10W-30

Costco is not listed on the participating retailers, but as seen on SD they have worked with many other Mobil rebates in the past.

Looks like they're allowing 4 rebates according to the online form.
Used to be 2 rebates last time I did this rebate.

Since Costco not in a participating retailers list and it says this:
and rebates are limited to purchases made at Participating Retailers; excludes online purchases made at Amazon.com. Rebate not valid on oil change services.

Does anyone have success in past?

Haven't had any issues getting Mobil 1 rebates when purchasing through Costco for the last 2 rebate offers.

wow I'm surprised costco would qualify for the rebate but walmart is probably still cheaper for most per qt with the jug

I switched over to penzoil cause I couldn't find 0w-20 mobil 1 at my local walmarts. I see that costco carry's it. Would it be okay to mix half penzoil and half mobil 1 for my next oil change (to use up the rest of the jug)? It would be the same weight and both synthetic...just different brands.

you can but if you go to bob is oil guy, its probably frown upon. i say 90% of the car mix generic oil from shop to shop, only the 10% takes care of their car. I have high mileage cars and never had issues different brand oil, but i usually dont mix. Also how old is the rest of that jug.. i think some oil left too long oxidizes, depends on brand or whatever.

less than a year, i would use it

you should be fine dude.. dare i say this but oil is oil.. stick w/ the weight and you'll be fine to intermix brands etc etc... the base synthetic oil is good for tens of thousands of miles but its the additives that break down w/ age, heat, cold.. that's why we change every so often to keep those additives fresh

I've seen 0-20 at both Walmart and Costco in my Southern Ca area. Walmart has it in 5 qt jugs and Costco in quarts. That's in So Ca area.

Thank you to OP.

Q1: I have a 2011 Toyota Sienna. Has anyone tried the Advanced Fuel Economy 0w-20 on a Sienna? I'm assuming since it's full synthetic, it should be fine?

Q2: I see a limit of 5 rebates per household. I assume if I buy 12 quarts, then I will get a rebate of $24, instead of $12?

Sorry for the silly questions but it's my first time doing this Mobil1 rebate.
