The unlocked/universal Moto E4 XT1768 had a price drop at Walmart to $30 for stores that still have stock. This will be YMMV and in store only.

$30 for this phone is a great deal. I love the front fingerprint reader / navigation pad, and it just works well for a sub-$100 phone, ESPECIALLY if you can get one at $30!
I bought 2 last night for $30 each at a nearby Walmart. I'll probably eventually try to root/ROM at least one of them, if (that's a big "if") I ever figure out how to do that!

Yes, it is a very good budget phone, especially for $30, and especially since it's compatible with all US and most global cellular networks AND it's Vzw VoLTE (HD Voice) compatible, too, so it will continue to work on Vzw after 12/31/19.
You should be fine, as it's universally unlocked. I've been in and out of China for about ten years
When I go in to such a Walmart, I almost always bring in a printed copy of the barcode. I usually start by asking the employee to scan the barcode with one of their handheld scanning devices. They usually do, because that's not hard for them to do, and they are probably conditioned to scan bar codes with that device.
After they scan it, I ask for however many I want, based on what BrickSeek shows in stock at that store. Then sometimes it goes to the conversation that unlocked phones aren't sold at that store, but I simply and politely say that their inventory system shows that it's in stock, and that I'd like to buy the item. If they refuse to even look for it, I politely ask for a manager. In most cases, the item is eventually found, because I'm very politely persistent, and the employee ends up selling it, but continues to state that they don't sell unlocked phones! Like I said, I understand where the employee is coming from, because there really is no reason that an unlocked phone should be in that particular Walmart store, but the fact is, they often are, at least in my area!
I'm still seeing recent reports on other forums that somehow people are still finding these unlocked $30 Moto E4 XT1768 phones in some Walmart stores
Good luck!

The Moto E4 XT1768 really does perform well, especially considering the $30 price many of us paid! Using low-demand and small size alternative apps, or even the mobile websites for things like FB, FB Messenger, Twitter, etc. whenever possible, and using a light weight browser like Naked Browser, just to name one, instead of Chrome, really makes it feel snappy!
I'm also trying Open Camera, which is pretty lightweight at a 2.4MB apk size, instead of the stock Motorola Camera. While it might make the pictures taken much better, I find it easier to use.
I'm really hoping for a few more security updates, too.
Anyway, I'm glad you were able to get two more of them. It sounds like it's still worth checking local stores if somebody really wants one.
The Moto E4 XT1768 is still well worth $30, even if it's just to have a good unlocked phone compatible with all networks, including Vzw, "just in case".
It's a great backup phone. Or if you're like me and don't demand a lot except for solid basic functions, it's even a great primary phone.
What general area are you in? I still see two stores with two each in stock in NW Ohio, according to BrickSeek.

I'm in North Carolina. It's actually for my neice who get a bit envious when her mother got a brand new more advanced Moto phone. Now she has a first phone and it's not such a heartbreak if she loses or breaks it. Plus it's a junior version of her Mom's phone. Great first phone for a young teenager!
