One of the better knives you will find for $31. USA made out of pretty good, mid-range Swedish Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel. It's one of the better steels you will find in this price range and out performs AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV or 440C in many ways. Three inch blade is on the short side for my big hands, but many find this the perfect size to carry. I've always liked Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted opening and it's a handsome enough knife you could wear when dressed up a bit without embarrassment. I've been waiting for a deal on a Leek, but I have bought so many knives recently that at this point I don't really need another budget blade, no mater how good for the money.

Tomorrow is payday and I've got my eye on some other toys. Kinda hoping it goes OOS soon, lol. But I guess that's just the Slickdeals Effect in action.

An excellent knife especially for the money. Based on history, it might go lower. I paid $25 March 2018 for the silver one, then bought my wife the green one in December for the same price.

Regardless, if you're looking for a good, quality knife to have with you, I highly recommend it. Blade is thin towards the tip so not good for prying and/or a lot of torque at the very end. The tip lock is excellent for extra safety in your pocket. And, last time I checked, USA made.

I was not a fan of the safety lock. Feel it was unnecessary and it kept sliding into place when I did not want it too. I ended up removing it from my Leek. I have the similar Dividend in M390 now, so the Leek gets no pocket time these days.

I appreciate the lock. Not the easiest lock to on/off but with two small kids I appreciate the option. I've dropped by knife and had it spring open several times before I started consistently locking it.

This is a great knife. I picked mine up for 24 bucks a while back, but that's an insane deal. It's still a great deal at $31 dollars, if you ask me. Steel is superior to everything else in that price range, and it's MADE IN THE USA Smilie If I didn't have one already, I'd be buying this.

Picked one up. Thanks OP! My first Kershaw (coming from Spyderco and older Gerbers).

Note that some change the handle material between stainless steel and aluminum. Varies by model. If that matters to you.

This is fantastic knife. I accidentally lost mine last week so I'm happy there's another deal for it.

As others have said, this is an excellent knife, especially at this price point. I everyday carry the carbon fiber scale CPM 154 steel version as my "business casual" knife to work because it doesn't weigh down the soft pockets on my khakis. I've carried it on slightly dressier occasions, too; it just sort of disappears against black slacks. I have bought a couple more of the standard stainless scale one for gifts. I like the shape of the knife way more than I expected I would, and it has quickly become one of my favorite folders.

I'm ambivalent about the safety lock. I keep it set more out of OCD than anything, but I've forgotten a couple of times and not had the knife slip open. I don't think it's necessary, but you get used to it being there and it's easy to release. If you know you're opening it one-handed frequently, you can leave it unset or remove it.

I'm debating whether or not to buy a few more as "stocking stuffers" at this price.

This is a great knife, but not sure if this a great deal, I paid like around $23 last December.

Yes, for people that dont know, stainless steel handles are framelocks, while the aluminum handles are liner locks.
