Anyone use Nest E without C-wire?
Nest E for $60 is very tempting because I have only white and red wires from a (Honneywell)zone valve end switch of gas furnace. I didn't know those red and white wires carrying voltage to recharge the thermostat.
I am using Sensi thermostat, but two AA battery drain so quickly(less than 6 months) so was looking for something else.

Yes. I tried a different WiFi thermostat a couple of years ago and it wouldn't work with my 2 wire oil system. I tried Nest E just recently and it works fine.

I wish I saw this before I ordered from National Grid last week! $99 is a sick deal!
BGE seems like the power authority for Maryland customers. This seems great for those residents eligible for this rebate
Yes. MD is pretty much BGE and BGE resellers.
