Seems to be an app you use to scan at the store to unlock the Shiny Pikachu & Eevee for Pokemon Let's Go (Nintendo Switch).
There are no guidelines stating this is for kids, so should be ok for everyone.
Of course you can always be like, can I grab this for my little cousin? And once again they don't get paid enough to deny you as long as you're nice about it. This is all from personal experience lol

Which is still not enough to support oneself on, so the answer is they still don't care.
Sure it is, if you live at home...it's plenty. If you expect to support a family and rent/mortgage, you went wrong somewhere.
