Note, the to-go cups are just cups you cannot blend in them. This is a bit deceptive to the rookie vitamix person like myself. The newer assent series has cups that blend directly in the cup. With that being said, once you use it, it is incredibly easy to clean the blender by running it for a minute after each use, so having the cups really isn't that necessary.

You can blend in the cup. You just need to buy a seperate adapter.
