If I were to estimate, I'd say dog food advisor would give it three and a half stars, possibly four due to named protein as first two ingredients. The poultry by-product, beet pulp, and possibly the canola and soybean meals listed near the top would more likely than not be red on the list. The rest are good supplements added to the food.

Dog food advisor is like fakespot. Companies have just figured out the basic formula and navigated their way around it. It was a great tool at first but it's long since been compromised.

It's sad that we have to trust a bunch of shady dog food manufacturers and their marketing campaigns since we have no way of knowing better what's in the food. If only making healthy dog food wasn't so darn time consuming.

Just looking through Google, plus the contact information on the back of the bag, I am leaning towards this being a Chewy-exclusive brand (the Paws & Parcel Food Co. is located in Dania Beach, FL, which is where Chewy HQ is). Odd because they have American Journey already, but I don't feel like they'd be doing a BOGO unless it was one of their brands

Victor is usually found at the feed store not the petfood store. In Texas it seems to run a buck a pound on average for the 40 pound bag. Their premium options are a bit more.

Yes this is an in house brand. I think just for dogs since American Journey has cat products too.
