Thanks for the heads up. My son loves Pokemon, we went and saw the movie this past weekend. Kind of cool they give you a two pack of cards when you go in. A Detective Pickachu card and one other basic.

Sadly my store isn't doing this promo.

The two pack was only through AMC I think. I scored several. Nice promo for sure.

GameStop might still have some Snubbull Pokemon cards. Usually they keep giving them out until they run out. I know that's how it has been for the Pokemon 3DS code cards. Sometimes the guest services section at our AMC Theatres give away their extra promo freebies after the period ends. We've gotten some of the Avengers IMAX posters they had leftover recently. Maybe if they have leftovers of the Pokemon cards it might be worth asking if you can get a pack. YMMV.

All true. I have had luck getting AMC promos before and after official promo dates.

I did score multiple of the Gamestop and AMC deals. Unfortunately, the Best Buy in my area wasn't doing it!

Going to run to Walmart tomorrow too.

So, this is awkward.

I'm currently at one of the participating locations, and they have no record of this event. I called around to two others that also had no idea about this event.

Shopper beware, but if anyone has any luck, please post!

There is cart at the front of the store with the posters and boxes of cards just sitting unattended. No employee at the cart. Guess we'll have to ask about it.

I've been to two participating Walmarts in my area. Neither of them have any clue where the cards are and have no info on a Pokémon event. I drove a half hour in each direction to these stores. This is ridiculous.

My store had an old lady sitting at a table with Pokemon stuff for sale, and she said she had nothing to give away because they never received the promo out. and she works for a third party company, not even walmart. We drove 30 mins to a participating location, and my son is pretty disappointed
