I think you might need to make a fulfilled by Amazon purchase where the shipment would come in a box. At least that's what I needed to do.

One of the items was also from the amazon warehouse.

I tried recreate the scenario on my SO's account but it didn't work.

Even though I was eligible, couldn't get the tape to scan on the mobile app. Chatted with customer service (who was totally unaware of the offer) and got the credit directly to my account. Still have no idea how to get the tape to scan.

I just saw this pop up as an offer during checkout. I'm trying to figure out why the heck Amazon wants to reward me doing this. I'm thinking it's to get me to use the amazon app for shopping (which I've never done).
