What the hell is going on? LOL
Won't fit in your living room at all. You gotta rent a storage container.

I got 2 × 10TB for $175.58 on the other thread, so 4TB more for less before tax on this one (I chose the free shipping option, since I am not in dire need of it right away).

RAID-0 out of the box.. reconfigure as a RAID-1 unless the permanence of your data doesn't matter.

It will drop to 8TB usable (Minus formatting) but worth it.

Not so great reviews on the 10tb and 16tb drives. Supposedly it's also kinda expensive to ship it back to WD... And also after the first month, you will only get refurb/replacement drives, which may have the same problem as the one you had

I placed some orders myself, but debating on cancelling. I think the 10tb are something like 5400 RPM anyway, which is fine for cold storage, but not something you'd probably wanna shuck

The top on mine basically pops open and the drives slide out

Does that make it a mirror? Do they have a microcontroller or something that automatically creates a mirror copy? What if the data is encrypted using veracrypt? Will it still work?
