Product Name: | STANLEY J309 Power Station Jump Starter: 600 Peak/300 Instant Amps with Battery Clamps |
Product Description: | With the STANLEY J309 jump starter and power station, you no longer need to dread roadside emergencies when your vehicle won’t start. This compact, portable device delivers jump-starting power with 600 peak amps and 300 instant starting amps. That’s enough power to jump-start your car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, boat, RV, ATV, or tractor- all without the need to use another vehicle for assistance. Simply connect the clamps to the battery, turn on the switch and start your vehicle. The reverse polarity alarm will alert you when there is an improper connection. A high-powered LED light rotates 270 degrees to help you work in the dark. The built-in triple USB port comes in handy to charge your phone and electronic devices. It features an integrated charging cube (a 120V charging adapter) that allows the STANLEY J309 jump starter to be charged using a standard extension cord, so you don't need to keep track of a separate specific charging cable. Extension cord sold separately. For optimal performance, the unit should be charged every 30 days when not in use. Once used, the unit should be charged immediately overnight. |

Any recommendations that you can make on which one to get?
I certainly have been driving before since these portable jump starters became consumer products and since then, only had to jumpstart once.
I don't mean this in a bad way: In what situation/scenario can some use a jump starter dozen times?

When living in temps that can get -10 degrees, car batteries start to struggle. Jump starters saved my butt many times.
I have a few of them. The one I like most is my goo loo 800 amp. Literally have used that thing so many times, and can do multiple starts with one charge. I've used it on v6 trucks and SUVs no issue
I have the one Costco sells and have used it multiple times on my V8 Yukon and V8 mustang. Works on my little Kia too but that would be expected.
