How does it feel for so many of you guys to be old af. "get off my lawn I don't understand this and therefore it's garbage". How difficult is it? They take people's favorite licenses and make a small cheap displayable figure from it. They're all stylized in a similar fashion so even if your favorite things are polar opposites (say game of thrones and Muppets) they don't look out of place next to each other. The boxes have a nice window so you don't have to take them out to see them, and they stack well around your media center.

It's just a little something to make you smile when you see it, and something cheap to treat yourself to when you see one you like.

I can't believe I have to explain something so simple. And I'm sure it won't matter anyway.

Can anyone explain the popularity of these style of toys? The fact that Lego even has sets styled after them boggles the mind.

Trust me, if you don't know already, you don't want to know.
Best to stay ignorant than be sucked into collecting these

thanks op!
sucks I paid more for some of these already

my girlfriend bought me 2 of them, she expects me to start collecting them (ha)... which is from my understanding what people do with them... buy them, let them sit in their box, and build shelves to display them once you get enough

It's this generation's beanie babies but with a broader appeal targeted at pop culture. They are pretty cool but I only buy them if they are cheap or if it's some character that I really want or it's an exclusive so you know they ain't mass printing that specific character anymore.

Btw I bought these almost a week ago online with 15% off $60 so this deal is actually not slick., If I knew that was actually a slick deal (thought it was the normal clearance) I'd have posted it. Kudos to you though for taking the initiative. Personally, deep discount has better prices at $4 and bigger selection.

I have three Batman bunco pops and have my eye on a couple more but that's about it. Check out some collectors on YouTube, they have thousands.

My toddler son is on a Mickey Mouse kick, so I showed these to my wife. Her reaction:

"What the hell is that thing?! Why is it so ugly? Why is the head so huge? I don't want to get one of those, they're freaky looking!"

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Did you just show her the Plane Crazy Mickey? The rest are actually cool looking. I'm just not that into Mickey to get them and don't want to start collecting them. But I'll admit the Plane Crazy Mickey could be considered ugly.

Who buys this crap? Funko Pop figures remind me of the product Robert Duvall's character buys in THX-1138. It's a plastic ball thing whose sole purpose is to be bought and immediately thrown away.
Okay.

I have 4 or 5 of them. Most I got in one of those "Sci-Fi" monthly box things, a year or so ago. (many of those things are about as useful) From what I have seen, many of them use the same head, and/or body, & are just painted to look something like the character. There are some that are kind of cool looking. But, do people buy them just to leave in the box & set on a shelf, hoping that someday, they will be rare enough to be worth something? I believe I stick with spending my money on other useful things.

I guess I got downvoted for saying this not a slick deal. Amazon has the same prices for firefighter, brave little tailor and conductor mickeys for the past week already and it's free shipping for prime members

If you are looking for cheap Batman's and don't have the yellow one, it's around $7 at deep discount.com for the exclusive version
