Dicks has their Camp Chef pellet 24" pellet grill on sale for $399 plus any discounts you may have. Solid pellet grill with some neat features like the slide away direct heat and ash tray disposal. This is a dicks exclusive that is a slightly smaller version of their more expensive grill. I bought this on sale a few months ago and have been very pleased with it. You can usually find a $20 off code or a percent off code for Dicks if you look for a bit. I also got a $20 dicks cash voucher after this purchase using the dicks membership stuff.

Coming from an electric smoker, this is pretty much just as easy but cooks much better. You can get nice smoke rings on meat and really good flavor.

    I'm an avid bbq'er and have used this smoker faithfully at least once a week for 5+ years with no issues to date. I've used Traegers and while it's a nice smoker this Camp Chef is just as good for a lot less. Traegers are for those who want to pay a premium price for a brand name and don't want to spend time doing their research. This Camp Chef is for us who want results without breaking the bank. I can't recommend this smoker and brand enough. I paid a couple hundred more when I purchased mine in 2014 so this is a deal.

    I am looking into a camp chef myself. This is a good deal. Worth noting that smoke rings are completely for looks and not something that you need to worry about when buying this to cook at home. Worrying about a smoke ring is nothing you should care about unless you're cooking for competition.

    You can't get a smoke ring on most(all?) electric smokers and I wanted it on my brisket and short ribs for the look. Electric smoker died and I ended up with this pellet grill. It adds nothing but nice looks, and that's fine. At the end, I do it as a hobby to mess around and I'm always trying to get it to taste or look like the pros. That just checked another box. The camp chef pellet grill is much nicer than my old electric smoker for many other reasons too.

    Decent price.. .but $100 shipping blows it up! The thing weighs like 150lbs... so forget about picking it up and carry it.... shame... was ready to pull the trigger!

    For $400, this is a steal. I have owned this grill for a couple of years now (after going through 2 Traegers and a GMG). BEST pellet smoker I have ever used. Highly rated on the internet, and highly recommended by myself. I have this smoker going 3-4 times a week and never an issue. Solid.
