Lenovo.com has a 10% coupon (SAVE10) that can be applied to the new Oculus Rift S VR headset, bringing the price from $399 down to $359.10+tax and free shipping. This headset was only released 5 days ago, so it's rare to see a discount so soon.

This headset does require a VR-capable computer, but it features inside-out tracking so it doesn't need any external sensors. I just tried my friend's out today and it works really well.

Some context: This VR headset is produced by Lenovo for Oculus.
Previously Oculus made their own hardware, but decided with the Rift S to outsource it to Lenovo.
Lenovo is known for making the cheapest, least reliable Windows Mixed Reality VR headsets (Lenovo Explorer). This looks to be a slightly more premium updated version of the Lenovo Explorer, with some improvements, and Oculus branding.
Lenovo wants to promote their new headset, which is why you're seeing this discount (that is, they're the original manufacturer).
If you already have the previous Rift, there's no reason to upgrade as there are trade-offs with the Rift S:
There are also other alternatives that may be more attractive for some people, like the Samsung Odyssey+ that are also inside-out and have OLED screens.

- Rift S has Inside-Out Tracking - No external sensors needed, making setup easier, but less accurate than using sensors
- Rift S has higher resolution, but uses LCD instead of OLED screens - clearer, but worse blacks
- Rift S uses the "helmet" headset design common in Windows Mixed Reality headsets with a sturdy knob to adjust the fit, whereas the previous rift was lighter and fit more like a hat with velcro straps to adjust the fit.
There are also other alternatives that may be more attractive for some people, like the Samsung Odyssey+ that are also inside-out and have OLED screens.

It's a huge step up from Go for video playback as well. A lot less screen door, much better clarity, and support higher resolution.
You can also utilize the convenient "hidden folder" feature so that the innocent souls eager to use your headsets to slash block won't see your friend's video collection.

You sure can. You can even buy toys and website memberships that will make them.... interactive. Um, or so a friend told me.

The Quest is easier to get into but it isn't better when you have a gaming pc.
