To use FedEx Office Pickup:
During checkout, simply select Pickup as your preferred shipping method
Select from a list of participating FedEx Office locations based on your zip code. *Marketplace items and bulky or heavy items are not eligible for delivery to FedEx Office locations
You will see the estimated delivery date during checkout and in your order confirmation email
You will receive an email when it's ready for pickup. FedEx Office will hold your order for 7 calendar days from the date it's ready for pickup. Orders that are not picked up within this time frame are returned to Walmart and refunded
To pick up your order, bring a valid government-issued photo ID and the FedEx tracking number which is in the Ready for Pickup email as well as in Order Details in Your Account

For some people with porch theft issues - FedEx pickup is absolutely a life saver, not to mention - A GREAT DEAL.
At the very least an empathetic person took the time and energy to tell us something s/he thought might be useful for us. The very least we can do is appreciative of it. Ohh noo... we are SDers - jerk central called and kicked us all out for being below their standards.

I just mean vs. having to do in store pickup in wal mart.
But if you choose FedEx office then they will ship to that store via fedex/ups/usps
Pick up your Big Mac and your Amazon or Walmart at the drive-thru window.
For example, order a 24-can case of Slimfast weightloss drinks from Amazon or Walmrt.
Pick it up in 2 days at the McDonald's drive-thru windows, along with your order of Big Mac, large fries, large Coke and McFlurry.
Who has the time to go inside a Walmart or FedEx to pickup packages?

In addition to the aforementioned porch theft issue, for people in areas without Walmart stores but have FedEx Office locations, this pickup method works a whole lot better.
