100% agree, discount giftcards have made me tons in the last year or two. Plus the cashback is usually really good here and there.

This is the Exynos variant which is pretty garbage in terms of battery, performance and even picture quality. Stay away.

Has this changed since the S9? I thought the Exynos was slightly more powerful and also has the ability to have roms installed compared to the US versions

Even on S9/Note 9 the Snapdragon version is way ahead of the Exynos version. Don't remember S7 and S8 but in the past there are version of Exynos that's better than Snapdragon

meh. not worth it without samsung pay. That alone makes it worth finding another deal. meh, double meh, triple meh. only noobs or international travels with need of dual sim buy this

Correct - if no need for Samsung Pay and if primarily used outside the US this is a really good deal (if as described).

Otherwise, the snapdragon is probably a better option.
