Saw a new sign at Walmart that looks pretty interesting. There's no dates on it, and I can't find any info on the deal anywhere which tells me that someone probably screwed up and put the sign out too soon....but anyway.
Seems like a pretty good deal for AT&T network:
$50/mo. but $40 with autopay:
- UNL Talk & Text
- 25GB High Speed Data then 2G
- Hotspot included
- Mexico and Canada roaming included
2 lines would be $70, 3 lines would be $100, 4 lines would be $120, and 5 lines would be $140.
Looks like this deal is only at Walmart - everywhere else has 16GB data offer and it requires autopay. This offer looks like it doesn't require auto-pay.

You'll need to port the Cricket number to another carrier (TMobile is quick and easy) then port into AT&T.
whatever
Hopefully Walmart will confirm the returned phone's SIM hasn't been activated before any refund given.
Tmobil branded store charges $25 for it...they are crazy
You had to purchase 4 AT&T Prepaid phones from Wal-Mart, right?
Then did you activate all 4 individually, set up one as the master account and invite the other 3 for multi-line? Any info would be appreciated as I'm considering setting up family on multi-line.

Hmmm.... not saying its ethical , but Walmart is a corporate giant, and far from angelic. I dont feel bad returning something to them that perhaps I shouldnt from an ethical stand point. I would be happy with a gift card because I am going to spend much more money there on other things and they will make lots of money on me throughout my lifetime .
But yeah , returning more than 2 phones is pushing it

Either way, AT&T farked the porting process (after activating with randomly generated numbers) and today when I called the customer agent informed me that I won't be getting the additional 17GB data. So will be returning the phones back to Walmart and just placed (multiple) disputes with AMEX regarding the charges from AT&T, they even charged me 2 months in advance... Don't want their service if I'm NOT getting the 17GB additional data.
Will try porting over to T-Mobile on to the $3/month plan and try again in a week, this time correctly (hopefully)

Yep. Read the thread FAQs first. Also read back several comments there's a lot of info on what to do and what not to do.

That all said, I wouldn't be jumping through these hoops if it wasn't a good deal and I don't support people who return the phone after the promo is applied. That is just unethical and not following the intent of the promo. But on the other hand, AT&T should honor their promo terms for those of us that followed what their web site said. I hope they get their shit together and this doesn't happen again in the future.
