Great deal. Make sure to turn off recurring billing to just be charged the $1.

Try to find some cheap XBOX Live subs to maximize the deal BEFORE YOU BUY IT. Ultimate combines the amount of months you have left on Live + Game Pass.

This is not a glitch. This is how it's meant to work. I am in the preview program and can confirm.

Just tried it. You're locked in to Ultimate Pass forever.

I don't get it. I should redeem any gamepass or gold codes before I do this because this deal adds 20 days of gamepass ultimate for every month I have?

" The upgrade of any prepaid time cannot be reverted back to Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass" What does this mean? So if i cancel my current $1 ultimate, do i lose out on the 1 month of game pass and 3 months of xbox live gold i had previously?

What if you cancel ultimate and get refunded? Do i have the option to repurchase it at same price?

I don't think it worth it... Most of the games are crap, and after the pre-paid time the new price will $180/year, and you can't convert back to regular gold (as stated in the rules).

I prefer keep paying ~$40 per year and choose myself what games I want to play (none of them are on the Game Pass)... instead of play games that I wouldn't normally play, just because they're there included...
Couldn't disagree more. I've had game pass since the day I got my Xbox, and it's easily saved me hundreds, and provided tons of hours of game play. I literally haven't bought a new game in the past 6 months because of all the stuff available on game pass. The best part is I've enxteded it with deals each time, never paying full price. I've probably paid less than $80 and now have 2+ years of game pass. Totally worth it. The service is insanely popular, they will only continue to add more goodness to it.

OP, I love you. Have my babies? Or I'll try having yours?

I had XBL until 12/2019. I had GP until 8/2019.

I bought 2 years at Costco.com. Got the key in email.

Redeemed it on XBL.

Then bought the $1 deal.

I attached screenshots of my BEFORE and AFTER on my dashboard.
How long did it take to get your code from
Costco? I'm still waiting

Uh oh. Been waiting 20 minutes already.
So ended up chatting with SCDKEY.com help thing and they wanted me to verify the order. Apparently buying 3x on one order is too much. They also wanted a picture of my drivers license or passport and phone number. That's not happening.

I've asked that they cancel the order at this point. I'll just buy through Costco and open up a payment dispute with Paypal if needed with SCDKEY.

So for anyone else using them, don't buy too many at once I suppose.

12 month codes Live from Microsoft Rewards at 29,000 points each are equivalent redemption to $27 at Walmart for me. 3 month codes was more than half those points (16k).
Added two years via two codes, extending to 8/26/2021. Couldn't add a third year of Live and game pass codes were not a good deal. $1 conversion from my MS balance with ShopSafe temp CC (from Microsoft Rewards gift card redemption) added one month, making Ultimate expire in 9/26/2021. Cancelled recurring billing and all looks good. Guess I'll redeem my extra 12 mo Live code in September for the equivalent smaller months of Ultimate or sell it. Any idea how it converts or when Live codes expire?

Didn't work for me, and I lost my existing 2 years of Live that I had.

Ok I just read for myself. That's nonsense.

"You can cancel your Ultimate membership at any time, and you will continue to have access to your Ultimate benefits until your prepaid time ends, at which point you will not be charged again. The upgrade of any prepaid time cannot be reverted back to Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass."

That just means you can't convert your existing time back.

Correct, the current conversion of remaining game time IS permanent, you can't cancel and revert back, however once your ultimate has expired and your recurring payment is turned off, you can revert back to regular gold with no game pass

$180 a year sounds like a lot, but I pay that for Netflix a year.

It includes Gears Of War Ultimate which is $100 that I would've spent on Day 1, and even though I agree that most of the Game Pass games are meh, there's going to be a few I will be interested in.
Yeah, but I watch Netflix basically everyday... I don't like Gears of War games and neither most of the rest in Game Pass... None worth increase from $40 to $180...
Even more that when it's released games I truly want to play, that will be even more money to pay, for not being included.
Pay almost 5x the current fee for the advantage of have games that I won't play doesn't make much sense to me.
I prefer still paying 40 bucks, and buy those AAA I really want to play... (As the Gears, in your case) It will still cheaper.
