This is just plain false for WD at least.
Did you arrive at 12-15% by looking at all the reviews or did you filter them down to only include the 10tb?

FWIW, it's good practice to run a 72-96 hr burn in period for any type of storage drive before actually using it. Most of the time, if the drive is going to fail, that's when it'll go (not to say it can't fail at other times but statistically not relevant).

Another thing to mention is that usually reviews are written by people who are upset about something when it comes to storage drives. In my personal experience, I've bought over 80 drives in the past 15 years, I've never written a review for a single one of them. Of the 80, I've had maybe 65 WD drives, a few maxtor, toshiba, hgst, and seagate. I've never had a single WD fail (got replaced eventually by bigger drives). However, I wouldn't touch seagate or toshiba with a barge pole. I'd trust backblaze over amazon reviews any day.
And nobody will every need more than 640K of memory...

"When we set the upper limit of PC-DOS at 640K, we thought nobody would ever need that much memory." — William Gates, chairman of Microsoft.

Today's deal of the day is storage deal, they have this item for this price in GE, BestBuy yet to update when I checked; now looks like GE also went back to previous sale price, since I saw $159.99, they intended this price for sure! lets see if they still doing it or not!

8TB is $169.99
$21.25/TB

Unfortunately Best Buy's website is what sets the price.

Yes, there's a code and it's for a first time order only. If you've used it in the past, you'll need to create another account to use it again.
