I got these for free for writing an honest review, they work well and hold a decent charge. I think the sound quality is decent for the price. It's hard for me to say if I would pay $40 bucks for them considering I paid nothing, but it is a quality product. I also have earbuds from this brand that I really like.

Anker SoundCore Life 2 > TaoTronics until it comes down to isolation and charge time. The Taotronics overall has a better battery with a tiny bit (1.5 extra hour) but where it really shines is the fact that it only takes under an hour to charge them fully where the Anker take 2.5 hours for a full charge. Not a huge deal on 28+ hours of battery life and the option to plug included 3.5mm in during emergency need without a charge. Now the sound quality increases on the Anker with the 3.5mm where it doesn't help the Tao much. You aren't here for wired technology though.

Tao is $10 cheaper than the Anker sold for here a few weeks ago.
I bought these for $50 or so in April and have used it on 2 round trip flights so far. I really like them. I had previously bought a pair of Bose QC 25s that caused me headaches either from the strong ANC or the headband itself (I have a big head). These are much more comfortable and I can wear them for several hours at a time without issue.

The ANC is not nearly as good but on a flight it works great.

$10 coupon on Amazon listing doesn't work, $30 coupon code doesn't work. $10 coupon doesn't show up and $30 coupon code says invalid.

Does turning the noise cancelling on ruin the bass like it does for other cheaper ANC headphones?

This headphone doesn't do multi point connection, otherwise I would have jumped on the deal.

You must clip the $10 coupon first, then add the promo code, won't work the other way around. Thx

I have had multiple over-the-ear bluetooth headphones in this price range, and TaoTronics are easily the best. The sound quality is a step above, and the battery life is considerably longer. When I first bought a pair, my wife had the SkullCandy Uproars, and after borrowing mine for a day, she wanted a pair of TaoTronics. I also had a first-rate experience with customer support.

been looking at these for a while...seems they rebranded it in the last week. Same spec though. Anyone know how they compare to the similar M-P-o-w H10 Wireless ? Thanks.
[edit] so rtings has the m-p-o-w rated higher but doesn't mention the bluetooth 4.2 compared to 5.0 of the taotronics. Which is important to me. Any thoughts?

For $40 Tao is nice and you won't beat it at $40. For $50 The life 2 are nicer. At $50 you won't beat it. Now if you wanna spend 2x-4x the amount, they're easy to beat.
