I have one of these and they work really well. Much easier than trying to carry the panel over your head.

I bought one of these and another knock-off...big difference....Gator Lift put some thought into their design of this product.

I have a gator life and recommend it.

I build most of my stuff out of plywood so I'm hauling 1/2 and 3/4 sheets around all the time. Its doable by hand but the gator lift makes it so much easier I never have to stop and reposition to get a better grip $20 is worth it for me.

FYI you might check the availability for Gorilla Gripper (~$20) for your local Lowe's. Otherwise could do prime from Amazon for ~$33.

I work in a lumberyard and we hand carry plywood and drywall all day. You just need to get used to balance and using your body in the right way (takes some practice) but I've taught even scrawny kids how to safely carry and move large panel materials.
Sorry but This product just seems silly to us

I think the ability to free up an extra hand/arm is helpful, and this item seems to help with that. I'd love to see your lumberyard guys lift drywall with one hand.EEK!

I have one of these as well from the last time it was posted. I've been rebuilding a patio over the last week and forgot I had this. Glad to know this will work for those last two pieces...instead of carrying it over my head Roll Eyes (Sarcastic).

It's not so much a question of one's ability to move large sheet goods on their own, but of the ease of doing so and this tool makes it really easy to one hand a sheet with great control.

Go ahead and call me silly, but I'll choose the easier way to get things done. It'd be silly not to, wouldn't it?
