are you sure? I have that exact same part number RAM "F4-3000C15D-16GVR" and it's samsung b-die. But I did buy the crucial memory for another build so thx for that as well.

unless you get lucky with really old stock, these have been Hynix for some time.

If someone is in the fence between the 2 RAMs posted by the OP, I would choose the ballistix for 3 reasons.
1) shorter heat spreaders for better compatibility with some CPU coolers,
2) Better stock latency 15 vs 16
3) (arguable) More trusted brand
