Yeah, Stay AWAY from anything that says faux leather in the title...ESPECIALLY ones OVER $100 Confused The "leather", is as thin as laminate, and doesn't last a year before peeling! Mad

The coupon code also works on the black version of that chair. It gets over 1,000 really positive reviews, but there isn't a Staples in my area so I can't sit in the chair first... Might have to just pass on this one...

The reviews are from NEW chairs...Sit in it a year, and then get back to us! LMAO Previous poster is %100 accurate; Little fake leather laminate peelings EVERYWHERE. After a year, you can roll it off with your fingers! These are worth $20, if you buy a new one every year.bulb

Don't say no one warned you!

Not sure who marked you not helpful but you are 100% right. NEVER buy a faux leather or bonded leather chair, they flake apart after a few years.

I've had an Osgood bonded leather chair for almost 7 years and it's just starting to peel on the arms. Not sure why some are better than others.

If you live in a place that has any kind of heat, stay away from any chairs that don't have some style of mesh. The sweat isn't worth it

Just wanted to chime in and strongly support this observation:

Even on the "better" and more comfortable chairs, if it's made from that cheap faux leather or bonded leather laminate, it's not going to last more than a year. The laminate cracks and chips and in a short period of time, it looks like the chair has some weird skin disease as it sheds all over the place. This happened to me many times over the years as I'd cycle through cheap-ish chairs for a home office.... until I selected chairs with different materials.

Some times you actually get what you pay for.

Sacrilegious words on this site, but very accurate when it comes to these bad boys.

I have this chair. I purchased it 3 years ago and it is not peeling. It is buy far my favorite chair that I have owned. I almost wish it was peeling so I could buy a new one... and this is a serious statement. PM if you want further clarification. Im willing to put the effort out there to make sure they keep making it, ill buy another when I need it.

I've had mine for right at 2 years and use it at work. 9 hours a day and no peeling. Not sure what y'all are doing to these things...
