Worked for me as well. If you don't intend to keep membership, you can go ahead and cancel membership now. Three month membership will remain valid and you won't be charged automatically in three months.

While a great deal, even you turn off automatic payments before the 3 months are over, be sure to watch the your credit card. I recently had it mysteriously, turned back on. 🙄

They returned the money, but the representative didn't seem surprised as to why I was calling.

Should it tell you "You do not qualify for this offer" when you click on the link...like other Amazon free trials? Not sure if I've ever tired Unlimited. Not sure I really want to...good deal though if you read a lot and or listen.

Looks like very YMMV, i definitely got a Kindle Unlimited free trial a year ago, but it allowed me to get it again just now. What was extra weird was that after i clicked through and signed up for it, it tells me it expires 7/31, which is obviously NOT 3 months. but then when i go to my subscription section in my amazon account and clicked on Kindle Unlimited, it says it expires Sept 26th for me and that it'll charge me 9.99 after that (put in my calendar to cancel on Sept 25th).

i have no idea, sometimes amazon is such a pain to navigate/figure out. LOL

edit: also I'd say you're honestly not missing much. a lot of the books I grabbed last trial were really bad, like talking about fanfiction level bad. I've read fanfics that were better written...so it's gonna be ymmv when it comes to what you find to read on Unlimited. I was able ot get some beginner music sheets to practice with though (started piano at the same time i got the trial last time). So there are some minor uses...
