I bought this from Costco several years ago and it still works great for fast oil changes on my Camry and Odyssey. Just a minor comment is the rubber saddle pad doesn't last very long, as mine broke up fairly quickly. But its not a deal breaker as the hydraulics on the pump are still nice and solid

I have an old XL3000 that I bought 2nd hand. Great jack. Just weighs 48 tons so it sucks to drag out of the shed. I'd buy this to save weight, but I really need that extra inch of lift.

Is this tall enough to jack up a truck like an F-150? High enough to remove a wheel for example.

How does this compare to the Husky floor jacks often on sale at Home Depot for ~$100

Don't know about Husky. But these where light weight and use it with my 5000lb Lexus. I have the previous steel jack from Costco, 89.99 I think. Jesus, that was heavy.

This is solidly built though and not to say Costco warranty.

Went to Costco today to buy this, no luck. Ended up with the Harbor Freight version for $170 (their coupon excludes jacks... news to me). Just came across this post... thanks!

I hope so, because that's why I'm buying it! Actually, reading on the F150 forums, I understand this may be enough as long as you do t have a lift kit. But a 2x4 will get you the rest of the way if needed.

I bought this on a previous SlickDeal maybe 2-3 years ago as well. I used the jack a few times without issue but using it for the first time this year the little rubber pad that makes contact with the car cracked as well Confused. I'm a little disappointed about that but it doesn't really bother me as I plan to replace it with a hockey puck. laugh out loud

The jack is fairly light weight for its size and ability and is very easy to use and roll around. Sometimes you can find this in store for ~$95 and save a few bucks but it isnt stocked very often.

There are a couple other threads on SD from previous times it comes in stock and is typically very well reviewed and sought after:

It's hard. I've been building a tower crane to move it for me.
