I had just canceled my free subscription since I didnt think it was worth renewing since you cant really control garage door thru Google Home but I will try it till 2020 for free. Didnt really use it while I had the free subscription.

All GH can do is tell you if the door is open or closed (status) and close the door. MyQ and GH will not open the door for security reasons. At least that is what MyQ tells you.

This service isn't worth $1 for a whole year. You can only close the door or ask it if it is open. Better off just using the app
