Was at my local Costco today, and saw this monitor on sale for $300:

https://www.costco.com/LG-32UK50T...59735.html

Here are some of the key specs:
-Model 32UK50T-W
-4K (3840x2160)
-VA panel
-60Hz refresh
-4ms response (GTG)
-Radeon FreeSync
-300 cd/m^2 (typical, 250 min)
-Vesa 100x100 compatible
-HDMI x2, DP x1
-Speakers

Very similar monitors have been selling recently for $350, so with tax, Costco is right on par with that price. This deal, however, affords the opportunity to get the panel in store, get it home, and be sure it doesn't have any dead pixels and/or isn't a lemon. That was worth quite a bit to me!

Note that if you are using HDMI with this monitor be sure to adjust the graphics settings for full rgb, my gpu saw it as a tv and put it in limited rgb mode... that looks terrible
I thought the same for a long time... Unfortunately, it's very hard to find a 32" IPS these days. They seem to generally skip that size in favor of 27", 40", and 43". If you are able to find something IPS in that form factor, it'll be much more expensive, be missing adaptive sync, or something else that I'd feel was a deal breaker.
Right? With all the other 4k 32" 120hz plus panels out there priced around $300 why even waste peoples time with this "deal"?

Great deal. Compared to UG-32UK550 that was recently on a deal for $350, it seems to lack HDR support and height adjustable stand. But still a good deal. I think I'm gonna go grab one tomorrow from Costco

I've been debating jumping from 27" 4K and going to try this out. At the native resolution I love the desktop space but my eyes don't last all day like they used to. I'll be moving away from a LG IPS 4K 27" and hope I don't miss the panel difference, will be used entirely for work.

Do you mean because of the smaller size of content? (Re:eyes not lasting all day)

I've been waiting for a 32" 4K IPS deal forever. As long as it has a VESA mount I'm happy.

Costco has a relatively good return policy for monitors (90 days). I'll give it a shot in the morning and just return it if I don't like the VA panel.

EDIT: Video looks much nicer compared to IPS (example GOT S8E3, which was unwatchable on IPS) but the color shift is still way too much for normal internet browsing. Gonna have to return and wait for an IPS deal I guess.

Excellent deal, imo. Especially with Costco's return policy.

I picked one up a few months back and it's been great. Vivid colors and brightness - this is from a long time devotee of the Dell Ultrasharps.

For most gaming and desktop use, it's hard to beat. The onboard audio is decent enough for something like a youtube tutorial. Anything else, you'll want external sound. (Obviously)

The menu system is way better than most - Dells in particular. These use a little upside down joystick under the logo at the bottom, and it's very intuitive. Power, volume, everything is through that joystick, and it's well done.

Great monitor! If you are on the fence, go for it. LG equipment is generally stout and folks being hypercritical about specs on a $300 unit from a warehouse club are kinda missing the point. Big Grin If you really need ermagawd specs, go ahead and scope creep yourself into a $1k+ model.

Bought it last month for same price ,good screen, descent speakers for desk use.I keep switching between mac and xbox without any issue.stand is the only issue- no height adjustment and tilted towards left, wobbly.I am getting a monitor arm for this.

Good for everyday desk/office use? Thinking about switching from 2 24" to one big one. Don't care about gaming features or perfect color/etc ... just a desk jockey.
