Does anyone know if the quik lok system works with non-Milwaukee attachments? I see it is a Gen2 blower as well...

No, sadly it does not. I checked numerous reviews including Milwaukee's own site. It is their own new proprietary system. However it's still a good system and the attachments seem solid and well-designed (I got the deal with the trimmer + extended tree pruner for $329). This deal is cheaper if you need a blower but I needed the pruner and it was the HD promo which comes and goes at times (I think it's on again). So far I'm impressed with this new line of M18 FUEL garden tools and the chainsaw is amazing, I'd put it up against any similar-priced 2-stroke noisy smelly saw.

somehow they charge tax on the free item as well. The price end up to be same as in store purchase at home depot with military discount.

Considering tax, cheaper at ACME as well with the July4 coupon and you get to pick your free tool. Doesn't have to be the blower.

Can't get free tool and 10%. One or the other. I tried the promo code and it removed the free tool.

Ego Blower completely dominates this blower.

String trimmer wise... the Milwaukee has more torque, but the ego is smoother.
