Coupon code is ADA15 for 15% off.
ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro competes with the Samsung 970 EVO and is a great value. It is recommended by PCWorld and Tom's Hardware, among others. I got one for my XPS 15.

- 3D TLC + SLC Cache (around 150GB)
- SMI Controller
- 640 TBW (350GB/day for 5 years)
- 5-year warranty

Base on my research, here are some rough numbers:
- Sequential read: 2500MB/s
- Sequential write: 2800MB/s (0GB - 150GB); 1000MB/s (150GB - 650GB); 550MB/s (650GB - 1TB)
- Consider replacing the drive after writing 640TB of data. You will get to this number if you write 350GB everyday for 5 years.

This is true, it was nice while it lasted though.

The specs show that this is quite a bit faster than their own 512GB version.

SX8200 Pro if it is anything like SX8200, is a dual side NVME drive that may not fit into you laptop.

It is a dual sided NVMe drive, however there are very few laptops where this would be an issue. Many NVMe drives are dual sided (e.g. HP EX920), especially the 2TB drives. I haven't been able to find much information about this being a problem. What laptop are you using that it has been an issue?
