Nintendo eShop cards sell out quiiiiiiiick. Keep checking every so often, though. Don't buy the crappy ones that they're trying to sell at MSRP. You can usually get a better discount than 6% on regular days where there's no promo code. They generally are around 9.9% off.
Xbox codes are always there at a good discount, though. So use that 6% now if you're looking for those.
Dunno about GameStop. Who even shops there anymore?
This isn't a good deal compared to how discounted the cards get on MassGenie.
This deal
20 = 18.80 = 17.67 = 17.41 (after cashback card) = 87.05% cost of total price
MassGenie deal
50 = 41.95 = 41.32 (after cashback card) = 82.64% cost of total price
You're talking specifically about the Nintendo eShop cards, which I'll agree that MassGenie does have a better deal percentage-wise, but some people don't want to buy a $50 card, which is all I've ever seen on MassGenie (correct me if I'm wrong. I only go by what they email me and what I see on SD)
Also, the Xbox cards are generally 13%ish off and this 6% makes it better than MassGenie's deals that I've seen.
Either way, we're really only talking about a few cents here lol. The main lesson is to stop buying these things directly and just use these deal sites.
Edit: Oof, forgot to include that the MassGenie deals usually only let you buy one card unless you do multiple emails and stuff which can get tedious. Raise lets you buy bigger cards or multiple cards and the discount applies to all that you buy. It really depends on what you need.
