I think this is a good deal. This deal supposedly come with a soft roller cleaner head, which is $80-90 alone.

It depends on which V8 you buy. I believe V8 animal does not come with a soft roller head but V8 absolute (and maybe others) does.

The Animal and Absolute are comes with differing attachments suited for it's intended purpose. The Absolute package comes with the fluffy head soft roller... good for ppl with hardwood floors or similar.

The DC33 is heavy and difficult to use for celling. It doesn't work on carpeted stairs either. Tried the V series at Costco and was amazed at usability. Will be returning the DC33 and looking for a deal on the V.
