Lots of stuff on the inter webs about flickering at high refresh rates. I bought one 6 months ago and my experience was if I use the DP cable that comes with it, it's fine, but if I used a 25ft DP cable from Amazon, it flickers at over 85 Hz. I had two cables that had the same problem, but one was worse than the other and turning the cable around actually affected it slightly.
All in all I'm pretty happy, but I'm a little frustrated I can't put my PC where I want and the colors are a little more washed out compared to my flat 34" LG.

Did you try overclocking to 120hz with gsync on?
Well yeah it's literally designed with gaming in mind. Good luck finding a 4K ultrawide of any kind above a 75hz refresh. Common consumer grade graphics aren't powerful enough to handle that.

I own this monitor and a 1080 ti. I'd say 1080 ti (or the 2080 now) is the bare minimum required to play games on this monitor. If you want gaming on 4K, you need to spend $1200 for 2080 ti.
