I was looking for a prepaid card for Verizon and came across the $40 prepaid card at Walmart online delivery for $33.40 making it almost 17% off. They did charge me tax though but I still saved money. Just posting in case anyone is looking for one.

Yea. The auto pay discount still applies so long as you have it setup for autopay on the account. And you just add these prepaid cards to your account and at recharge time it will pull from the prepaid balance first then charge your card for the remainder, if any.

I purchased them a few months ago for around $25, but I agree, prices have gone up to ~$30 (even from same sellers I purchased from before).
Yes. You can. I've been buying from eBay sellers for more than a year and never had any issues. If you signup for auto renewal, Verizon gives $5 credit. For a $50 monthly plan, you get $5 auto renewal discount and get the $50 prepaid card for ~ $36. That's a great deal. Unused funds in your account will accumulate.
