I do just fine with my 2600 and an RX 580. 1080p and 144hz I can pull about 100fps on bfv with med/high settings. RX 590 might allow you to go high/ultra. It's not a bad price at all for the performance, you just have to be realistic.

I'm building a 3600 setup. So you guys think this 590 will let me run pretty much everything ultra setting at 1440p without lag?

Why the 2070 Super over the 5700 XT for streaming? Partner cards will be out next week.

if u just gaming, 5700 XT is a great budget option but I'd wait for manufacturers to come out with their own custom coolers

Yes I would wait on 5700 partner cards, but from what I have seen the card has a lot of potential with overclocking.

Here it is going toe to toe with a 1080 Ti - OC vs OC:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCq6KSPrnfA

I personally wouldn't push it that hard, but with a good partner cooled solution I expect people will be getting to 2070 Super levels without any extreme OC. Will check out the video above about encoding.

So in my case it sounds like the 3900x can handle the x264 encoding rather than having the 5700 use h264, but if you are someone with less cores than probably want the Nvidia Turing handling it.
