I personally think the silver looks pretty good, but even if I didn't, I'd still consider getting these just because my black pair really shows of the skin oil and sweat from my head.

It seems unlikely, since their only presence seems to be on Google Express.

ETA: and they're not listed on Sony's authorized retailer site [sony.com].

WH1000XM3 or WF1000XM3? I'm debating between the two (even though I recognize they serve such different purposes). The WH has consistently gotten discounted so much that it's basically the same price as the new WF these days.

My biggest priority is to find a quality headset for voice calls/ video calls (e.g., phone, Zoom) and the WF seems to have decent reviews while the WH does not. Second priority is to find one with good noise cancelling, and the WH seems to be far superior due to it being an actual over the ear headset.

Thoughts?

doesn't matter
Sony goes by the serial number for warranty. If coverage is less than 12mo based on serial, and you want Sony to honor the warranty from the receipt/date of purchase, then yes, authorized dealer rule would apply.

I don't actually know but there's another thread about these from today where a poster says the opposite; that Sony will refuse warranty service on grey market products...
I would love some confirmation on this.

I use my WH1000XM3 for voice calls regularly, and it seems to do pretty well as long as there isn't a lot of background noise. I think that's largely the issue people have.

For conference calls where I want to be as clear as possible (and have a way to easily mute myself) I bought this Vmoda adapter:

https://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-Boo...B00BJ17WKK

The V-Moda site also sells them directly. I got them for $24 shipped using a coupon code I found online (KNIGHTED) a couple months ago. Looks like it still works.
