Almost year old , No touch controls Plus no difference in sounds/call vs elite model.(sport comes with tracker inbuilt ). And still this price is high. Pass for me
I got these from this seller about a week ago. For $250 these are trash, but they sound somewhat better then my anker liberty lite, but much less full of a sound then my anker soundbud surge. It doesn't feel like they are getting a good seal, might try some comply buds.
Lots of people are bitter that they spent $250.
The buds looked new, came in a factory refurb box, and they may actually be the newer 4.5 hour variety, at least that's what the app says(charge time, the model numbers of the unit are the same for old and new gen). It was several version of firmware behind. They are IP rated, so i washed them anyway.
If you don't care about the heart rate monitor, these aren't for you. You should get the jaybirds for $30 from the other post.
Bluetooth reception is damn good, way better then the anker soundcore liberty lite.

No touch control can be a blessing. The original version of these made for a difficult button press. Newer versions have been softened a bit. So less painful. And one finger on the edge of the bud while another finger presses also helps with the pressure. The reason for this is they are ip67 rated. Not many mainstream buds are rated to ipx7.
Hers a pretty in depth review that focuses more on the fitness aspect of them, but plenty of info on thr buds themselves. Also keep in mind it's also based on their price at the time which was over $200. https://www.techradar.com/reviews...e-review/5
Also has dual mics for better voice calls and an ambient noise mode which is just okay. Connection quality is generally strong. Sound quality is decent. And the same deal from Newegg was front page earlier today even though the deal didn't last long as they sold out.

You can get the Jaybird run for $30? Just looked... It's the x3. Couldn't pay me to buy another wired BT headset from Jaybird. Their reliability is crap. I haven't had one pair make it through the warranty period. Actually had a collection of cut up buds from them as they make you send a picture of them cut up before they send a replacement. I ended up with so many boxes of accessories and the little battery clips and charging clips and extra foam tips and cord keepers. The latter two were useful for buds from other companies. A lot of people knock the Jaybirds for their failure rate. Also, many are looking at tws buds to avoid a headset with any sort of cord.

I have certainly heard of the reliability issues, but mine only got replaced because they were lost. That vipoutlet site for bluetooth jaybirds too. It also looks like this post is much more detailed, so it is, in fact the current gen.
I'm trying these buds, for $7 worth a shot, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0722LZ66S

They hold up much better than comply's version, and they are short enough to fit in most tws charging cases where standard foam ones don't unless you cut them down (which I've done).
And you're kinda missing the point. People buy tws buds to not have to deal with the cable between the two. I don't even own a corded BT headset anymore.

I posted the Newegg deal I didn't want to share it until I actually received it to make sure they were the real deal. They are in great shape they almost look new and they are the newer version 4.5 hours battery

Cool. Makes it a little better knowing they are not the first version of them.

I think it's supposed to be a slightly better set generally speaking. It is newer. 65T's aren't as waterproof/resistant and don't have the sensors to do HR and other workout metrics. Probably more so depends on what you wanted them for.

Still a good find by the OP, so that earns a rep from me.
