These are great for short distance and long distance in my experience. I've had them for about 3 months and love them. Compared to my last pair, which were Brooks, these are lighter and much more comfortable during runs. My feet used to get beat up a little before when running, especially when i got near 10miles during a run. Now with the UltraBoost, it feels like i'm running on pillows the whole time and they are light as a feather. My usual shorter runs tend to be around 3.1/5k and my longer runs are closer to the 10 mile range for reference.

Love them, go buy a pair and enjoy them.

I wear shoes in 8.5 and sometimes size 9 depending on the width of the shoe. I purchased my pair of the 19's in a size 8.5. But I think i would have liked a 9 in this one.

The black and white is a nice sporty style to it, good for gym. But to wear it casually, the design is a bit much. For casual use and simplicity, prefer the ultra boost 4.0 design

Are the 19s more or less comfortable than the 4.0s? I've never had either.

I like the look of the 4.0s a lot more than the 19s.

In person, to me, it's the opposite. The UB looks more athletic and the 19s more casual (low profile, rear texture looks like a cotton sock, front/side looks like Sperrys because of the two tone to me).
My son compared the UB and 19 last night for a couple hours and determined the 19s were much more comfortable due to the added Boost, but he like the looks of the UB slightly more.

Fyi if you return something to adidas processing time is super slow and frustrating. I returned a shoes once and it took 8 months. Even then, it wasnt properly resolved. Gave me a giftcard instead of original payment refund. Also If i didnt keep screen shots of the return tracking and order information i wouldve been out of luck. That said, i still continue to buy their shoes and apparel. If their $90 ultraboosts come back in stock, $72 after promo, thats a steal

The style of the 19s hasn't grown on me.

The trapezoid on the heal is just fugly. Looks misplaced.

I go a half size up from my normal dress shoe because I have wide feet.

The sizing is pretty true to foot size but the half size stops the shoe from hurting my feet.
