What am I missing? When I go to the size and scroll through the details all these have LAYERS??? Is that how they make them now? I have two of the originals and they both are solid one piece .

The domain is the same in both of your examples: tempurpedic.com

Your first example, it is called a subdomain.
In your second example it's just a directory.
Thanks for the clarification. Makes me feel alot better. I guess its like blog.domain.com. I'm an idiot.

No, credit had to be use on Tempur msrp purchase via 800#. I could not use it at local store. These are low end TP compare to current model line up.
. But for most/many they're far better than the type of bed $400 would usually get you. I mean there's really no debate there

Found a good video on the Tempur-Pedic Premium Firm - Worried about the "no return" policy, but the price is too good to pass up!

True. Also not that warranty claims, if fulfilled, will be a credit equal to your purchase amount. 450 today equals 450 in 2028

None of that rules out floor models.
"Unless otherwise stated, all items offered on this web-site are new and authentic Tempur-Pedic products. These are not returns, exchanges or damaged products. Many of the items you will find here are prior model year products that have been deeply discounted to make room for our latest models"

Since when is a floor model considered new?

I sell mattress if this is a real Tempurpedic this is cheaper then my employee discount. And to answer your question a Regular Simmons doesn't compare only a Simmons black which I own comes close.

So this is some sort of Costco model it sounds like? From a couple of years ago maybe? I wonder how 'firm' it really is? Tempted but that no return policy has me thinking twice.

[QUOTE=manyee;130025935][QUOTE]I decided to go for it and got the TEMPUR-PEDIC PREMIUM (Soft). Hopefully it's just right for a side sleeper. I was worried about the cheaper ones being a bit too soft, and want a 12" as my current mattress is 12". The order went through. Crossing my fingers.

How much different is the SOFT and FIRM? I am only 115 lbs and back sleeper.
With your makeup it shouldn't matter too much. Depends on your preference. Firm softens up as you lay there. Tempur material is temp sensitive and gets softer from your body heat. That is what makes it different from all other memory foams!

reading reviews online about tempur pedic, seems like a nightmare with the warranty. they'll deny your claims saying that the ridiculous sag the mattress develops is normal after a few years and you're stuck with a useless mattress

Hopefully firm is a good choice for those of us who have stiff lower back pains with mattresses that are a bit too soft? I was too scared to go with 'soft'
