I'm a bit suspicious that this is a "new" drive. Toshiba XG5 has never been sold in retail, it's only meant for OEMs. So either they got a bunch of "new" pulls, or managed to get a hold of new from the factory shipment initially intended for someone else. In both cases warranty will be an issue.

they are not authorized dealer like newegg but they get many oems. usually, if they are pulls, they state so (as they have in past)


+ they offer a 5 year warranty

Sorry I am not to familiar with these m.2 nvme pcie ssd tlc 3d 2d terminology.. (I am currently using a older ssd ocz sata drive on a gigabyte a320m motherboard with one open m.2 slot)
would you recommend this vs hp ex900 both currently around the same price

I have one if these. Works fine, not the fastest drive but definitely a step up from Sata performance.
