Zignature - 3 Cans of Premium Dog Food - Free AC B&M - Expires 2019.09.15

Coupon Expires September 15, 2019
Quick and easy instructions:
  1. Click here [slickdealscdn.com] to view and print the image.
  2. Check here [zignature.com] to see the locations that sell these cans.
  3. Go to location and choose 3 cans of your choice.
  4. Upon checkout, provide them the filled out printed coupon and pay sales tax (if applicable).

Non-essential details:
This is apparently premium canned dog food made by the same company that previously hit front page with its free 4-lb bag. The cans are typically available in-stores and online for $3-5 per can. I originally posted this deal here, but someone has erroneously marked the deal as "Expired" even though it isn't, so that's how it shows up when using the search feature.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Why are they still using so much pea product [fda.gov] in their foods? It's hard to find dog food (I don't feed kibble) that doesn't have lentils, peas, potatoes, chickpeas in top ingredients. I'm feeding Primal Raw Frozen Nuggets until I find a good canned food to rotate.

EDIT: heh heh - I didn't see the previous debates on other dog food deal threads, so I'll assume everyone who buys is good with what appears to be a good deal. As you were.

Good idea. I waited until the last day and there were no locations that carried the bags near me, so I was only able to get some cans.

For me, yes. It depends on your city/state/etc. Technically, the coupon says the customer is responsible for all sales tax.

I paid 77 cents or so out of pocket for three cans at a mom and pop shop and was okay with that. I've been to some stores where they don't ask for anything after I use "free" coupons and end up with a balance of $0.00, so it depends on how the POS is programmed. I wouldn't expect or count on that, but rather would just consider myself lucky if it happened that way.

Yes, you can view the FP Zignature thread to see all the discussions/debates about the ingredients/health issues and the quality of the study, etc. It's free and I pick up these deals for our dog just to throw in randomly to "mix it up" every once in a while or use as temporary holdovers until we get a replacement bag of food. I do not plan on permanently replacing our dog's usual food with these, and I imagine most SDers are on a similar page.
